Biltmore Who's Who Selects Christopher J. Ross as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- Vero Beach, FL (1888PressRelease) November 23, 2010 - Christopher J. Ross, Staff Nurse for Wuesthoff Medical Center, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry.
Ross, who holds an Associate's Degree in nursing and biology from Variety Community College, began his nursing career in Sarasota in 1989. With over twenty-one years in the field, he has eleven years experience in critical care for cardiac, medical, surgical, neurological, and trauma, five years in emergency room nursing, and two years in trauma critical care nursing.
In addition to his day to day duties as a staff nurse, responsible for staffing and patient flow, Ross has spent several years as a critical care nurse educator and was an interim clinical nursing instructor with Manatee Community College. Planning to finish his bachelor's degree in clinical psychology with a specialty in post traumatic counseling, he hopes to assist others who have been either victims themselves or whose loved ones were a victim of a traumatic event. "The two events that have given me the greatest perspective of patient care," he said, "was the death of my daughter Christina four years ago and recently caring for my other daughter Brittany who was in the intensive care unit for two weeks."
With credentials that include a CCRN, TNCC, ACLS, and BLS, Ross was also a chemotherapy provider at one time. He is an active member of the National Rifle Association and Central Assembly Church, and is a former member of the AACN. In his free time, Christopher enjoys scuba diving, boating and hunting.
