Biltmore Who's Who Selects Christian P. Sheehan as a Top Ten Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Sheehan, PGA Director of Golf Operations for Pelican's Nest Golf Club, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Christian P. Sheehan's commitment to excellence in Golf Services and Retail.
Sheehan, who began working in the golf industry in 1997 as a junior golf camp instructor for Hay Harbor Club in Fishers Island, New York, later worked six seasons with Golf Digest Top 100 Instructors Bill and Craig Harmon, as well as five seasons at Golf Digest Top 100 Clubs Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York, and Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio, before taking on his latest venture.
As director at the golf club, Sheehan's role includes setting up a schedule of activities including golf events, instructional programs and educational seminars for some 900 golfers. He also oversees staff of approximately twenty-six inside and outside professionals that conduct the day to day activities, as well as special events for their membership. "Everyone, regardless of their chosen field, wants to reach the pinnacle of their industry," Sheehan said. "I'm very blessed to be here at The Nest, and this might be my pinnacle."
A member of the PGA of America, Association of Golf Merchandisers and secretary of the Southwest Florida Chapter PGA, Sheehan is also the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2009 Southwest Chapter PGA Merchandiser of the Year Award for private facilities. A fine player himself, he won the 2001 Western New York Section PGA Assistant Professional Championship, earning him one of forty-four spots in the PGA of America Assistant Professional Championship. In his free time, Christian enjoys spending time with his family.
