Biltmore Who's Who Selects Charles Miller as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- Columbus, OH (1888PressRelease) May 18, 2011 - Charles Miller, Owner of MirrorScapes Landscaping, LLC, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Charles Miller's commitment to excellence in Landscaping.
Miller, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture and Master's Degree in Education, both from Ohio State University, previously taught agriculture to high school students for thirty years before opening his landscaping business in 1996.
As owner, Miller's main priority is to service the needs of the local community, where he specializes in hardscapes, total outdoor landscapes, design and maintenance. He handles the daily operations of the business, oversees ten employees, and is involved with customer sales and designing the landscape plans. He also determines all contracts for the company based upon the needs and information requested by customers.
"My experiences working as an educator provided me an excellent background for operating my company," Miller said. "Following my retirement from public education, the business has grown to serve a large part of the Central Ohio area."
With plans of developing a more environmentally friendly business and becoming a leader in the industry with cutting edge technology with the most current trends, Miller is hopeful for the future years of the business.
"I was so inspired by my former students who found outstanding careers in the lawn and landscape industry," Miller said about his retirement from teaching and venturing off on his own. "My passion has given me the ability to leave teaching and serve a second career."
Miller is certified through Ohio Landscaping Tech. He is a member of the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association, Tri-County Builders Association, PLANET and the Better Business Bureau, and served as president of the agriculture division for the American Career and Technology Association. He has received numerous awards over the years, including being named Ohio's Outstanding Career Tech Teacher, and his company has been published in several local newspapers for their work efforts within the local community.
