Biltmore Who's Who Selects Beverly Sweatt as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

The selection recognizes Beverly Sweatt's commitment to excellence in the field of Construction.
Sweatt, who graduated from Brazos Business College in College Station, Texas, began working for Texas Rehabilitation Commission for a few years in Odessa as a rehabilitation technician. But it didn't take long for her to find herself drawn back to the family business working for her father's oilfield dirt construction company.
Beginning at the age of fifteen, Sweatt slowly learned how to do the books during her summer months off from school. The job, which also offered her the ability to fulfill her office procedures class in high school, offered her the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of how the office was run.
Currently, Sweatt keeps track of the hours for their subcontract dump truck companies, which are a part of the accounts receivable department. She also tracks when their equipment and vehicles need servicing, so that they are maintained in a timely manner. She oversees GPS tracking of all employees, follows vehicle and inspection reports, does all of the data input for the monthly records and works with Bill Sweat, her (specify relative title…uncle, cousin, etc.) with maintaining and updating company files. "My dad is very well liked by his employees," she said in regards to the morale at her father's company. "He is well known and respected by all the business professionals in the community."
Planning to stay with her father's company until she retires, Sweatt spends her spare time at her local humane society and plans to work with them in the future, perhaps helping to build a new shelter. She also aids in spaying and neutering, as well as with animal emergencies at the facility. Beverly also hopes to re-run for town mayor in three years, as she aspires to help the community in building a homeless shelter and soup kitchen for those in need.
