Biltmore Who's Who Selects Anwer Rahman as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- St. Louis, MO-IL (1888PressRelease) November 04, 2011 - Anwer Rahman, Physician for Inpatient Consultants (IPC), has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Anwer Rahman's commitment to excellence in Healthcare.
Rahman, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and an MD, both from St. Louis University, completed his residency in internal medicine in 2005 at St. Louis University Hospital.
Now a hospitalist at SSM DePaul Health Center, Rahman takes care of adult patients by facilitating their care, helping them transition back to their primary care physicians upon discharge and providing them with references for new primary doctors.
"I have always had an altruistic view of the world," Rahman said about his choice in profession. "Since I was young, I always wanted to help others. There is no better field than medicine where you can get the satisfaction of making a patient feel healthier."
Planning to continue his career as a hospitalist, Rahman hopes to get more involved in professional medical associations and in volunteer settings and clinics. He is an active member of the American Medical Association, Islamic Medical Association, Society of Hospitalist Medicine, American College of Physicians and the Association of Pakistani Physicians of North America. When Anwer isn't busy working, he enjoys watching baseball and traveling.
