Biltmore Who's Who Selects Angelica P. Esparza as an Executive Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Esparza, Administrative Services Specialist for Northwest Vista College, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Angelica P. Esparza's commitment to excellence in Education.
Esparza, who is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science from Texas A&M University-San Antonio, began working as a part-time work study for her college in 2006 before taking on a full-time position three years later as an administrative secretary.
Now an administrative services specialist, Esparza assists four areas within her department. She provides support to their Corporate Solutions and Continuing Education areas and to their Community Education and English as a Second Language area. She maintains the budget for all areas, assist with registering students for classes, answers incoming calls, corresponds with their district personnel when needed, collaborates with numerous departments across the college, plus a host of other responsibilities.
"My children have taught me a lot about patience, goal setting, endurance and joy," Esparza said about her career choice. "I look forward to leaving behind a legacy of commitment, passion and integrity."
Hoping to perhaps become a financial advisor/investor or trainer for the Corporate Solutions area where she works, Esparza is open to expanding her professional horizons. She has done peer training within her organization, which has made her a leader. She plans to continue to work hard and strive to grow in her current leadership role.
Esparza is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and National Honor Society. She earned her pharmacy technician certificate in 2006 and is currently studying toward a degree in finance at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. She's earned an Outstanding Achievement in Service Excellence Award in 2009 through her college's organizational leadership department and a Leading with Excellence Award in 2011 through Northwest Vista College's Leadership Lab.
