Perkins, who recently founded her own company just last year, has been working hard to promote her business through her new website, as well as on Facebook, which has grown significantly with each passing month.
La Rose Noire Promoters' mission is to promote small businesses. By first securing clients, Perkins is constantly promoting through social media, as well as through the web, for each of them. She is in charge of conducting interviews, editing videos and audio feed which get posted to her website, promoting clients' shows, upcoming work and public appearances, and managing ad campaigns. She also works with bands, authors, and various other artists.
"I found something that I love to do and decided to act on it," Perkins said of her new found career. "I studied writing in school and have always been able to start with a small idea and build it into something bigger."
Inspired by a friend that works in field, Perkins is also forever grateful to her father. Between the two of them, she was able to better establish her business and put her best foot forward. She hopes to continue to build her business, one client at a time.
Perkins is a past member of the National Honor Society of High School Scholars and was also named to Who's Who Among High School Students in 2004.
