The SEP, developed by ZigBee Alliance, is an international interoperable standard for home energy management (HEM) communication protocols. Being certified with the ZigBee SEP capabilities, Billion SG6200NXL provides an effective interface between smart meter and home automation devices such as Programmable Communicating Thermostats (PCT), In-Home-Display (IHD), and other ZigBee-certified products; the gateway builds the seamless communication links from wide-area to the home appliances.
