Bill Riggs Named to 40 Under 40 by Professional Remodeler Magazine

St. Louis, MO-IL (1888PressRelease) June 22, 2011 - Riggs Construction & Design, a Kirkwood design-build remodeling firm, is proud to announce that co-owner Bill Riggs has been named to the 40 Under 40 list by Professional Remodeler magazine. The magazine judges nominees from across the country on characteristics such as leadership, dedication, personal integrity and community outreach.

Starting with the company in 1997, Bill began his career as a carpenter, later moving into to the role of project manager, to sales representative and finally to co-owner. Learning the craft before taking leadership, Bill has implemented many of the initiatives that have set the firm apart from other remodelers, including his Certified Green Professional designation from the NAHB and an early EPA Lead-Safe Certification.

Bill continues his family's legacy of community involvement. He currently serves as an Ambassador for Rebuilding Together, and has led volunteer work in the Kirkwood community. These projects include the rebuilding of the storage facility for the Kirkwood Farmers' Market, the Kirkwood Library Playhouse, and the Lookout Tower at Meramec Highlands Quarry at Dee Koestering Park.
