The survey, conducted by phone and mail, is sent to over 80,000 high net-worth households with an additional 4,350 surveys going to financial services industry professionals. Each wealth manager is then reviewed for any regulatory actions, civil judicial actions and customer complaints as reported by FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) and other regulatory agencies. Finally, it is reviewed by a blue ribbon panel comprised of knowledgeable individuals from within the financial services industry.
