Bibigo Brings Taste Of Korea To The UK
Bibigo a global South Korean brand will be working alongside the Korean government to host a series of 'Taste of Korea' events to showcase South Korean culture and food. The series of events will be held in selected Tesco's across the UK from the 1st to the 20th of November.

Bibigo is owned by C J Foods, a well established South Korean food company. C J Foods has been established for over 60 years and their Bibigo brand is the No 1 brand in Korea with a global business size of over £258 million respectively. Bibigo have recently launched their own line of products in the UK which include three flavours of BBQ sauce and a range of frozen crispy dumplings.

We are very excited about the Taste of Korea opening event there will be lots of opportunities for adults and children to taste Korean food, take part in activities and be part of a cultural experience."
There will be a number of South Korean delegates gracing the opening event including the official head of Kotra (Korean Trade Investment Promotion Agency) and South Korean officers. Alongside the official delegates Bibigo will also have a range of fun and exciting activities. For example the Bibigo restaurant chef will be conducting a number of live cookery demonstrations not to mention promotional stunts, free merchandise, balloons, sampling, offers, discounts and much more. The Taste of Korea event will continue after the opening event and from the 1st of November to 20th of November there will be a range of in-store demonstration in 12 stores across the UK.
The Bibigo BBQ sauces come in three tasty flavours original, hot and spicy and pineapple. The sauces are convenient and flexible and they can be used as a cooking sauce, a marinade or even as a dip. Their frozen crispy dumplings come in two varieties pork and vegetable and a tofu and vegetable, the dumplings are suitable for a variety of customers; they are easy to store, easy to cook and taste delicious. Bibigo always ensure that their products are healthy as well as being tasty for example their sauces have no MSG or trans fat and their dumplings are low in sodium. Bibigo also uses high quality ingredients sourced from Korea therefore authenticity is guaranteed.
South Korean flavours and food all revolve around a balance of taste and ingredients. For example the most traditional dish is the bibimap which consists of a bowl with an equal proportion of rice or noodles, vegetables, pickles and sauce. Koreans are also famous for their barbecued and marinated meat such as beef, pork or chicken. The barbecued dishes are often prepared at the diner's table on gas or charcoal grills that are built into the table itself.
The sauces have a recommended RSP of £2.25 and the pork and vegetable frozen crispy dumplings have a RSP of £2.85 and the tofu and vegetable dumplings have a RSP of £2.00. The Bibigo sauces and dumplings are available in selected Tesco's nationwide.
