Bhilwara Sangam University BBA MBA students attend Financial Literacy Session at RBI Jaipur
No one in India today has doubt that Information is just bits of data while knowledge is putting them together and wisdom is transcending them.
- (1888PressRelease) May 25, 2013 - Under the Financial Literacy initiative, a batch of 40 MBA / BBA students of Sangam University, Bhilwara along with their three faculty members visited Reserve Bank of India - RBI Jaipur Office on May 16, 2013. The trip was aimed at getting better insight regarding functions and working of Reserve Bank of India.
Dr. Sathyan David, Regional Director inaugurated the special session which was arranged for the Sangam students in the Lecture Hall of RBI Jaipur. Highlighting about history of money, evolution of central banking and the role of Central Bank in economies of countries, Dr Sathyan advised the students to read a variety of journals and books, so that they may keep themselves abreast with the latest developments around the world. Two short films on the History of RBI were also shown to the students.
The session included various functions of Reserve Bank including its association with the day-to-day life of a common person. Brochure on Functions and Working of RBI and comic books on Mani Kumar were distributed to the students. The interactive session had queries raised by the students which were answered by the RBI experts. The students were also shown the functioning of the Banking Hall.
The faculty members and students of Sangam University conveyed their sincere thanks to RBI Jaipur for providing such a life time learning experience and the student connect initiative which was aimed at providing vital information in such an interesting manner as well as for the excellent hospitality.
