Bharatmrida To Host A Photography And Art Exhibition-Cum-Fund Raiser In Support Of WWF-India
Titled "Witnesses of Time", contributions will go towards supporting WWF- India's mission.
- (1888PressRelease) April 28, 2012 - The artist and photographer duo of Bharat and Mrida will host a photography and art exhibition-cum-fund raiser in support of WWF - India in association with The Park, New Delhi and Gallerie Ganesha on Thursday, 3rd May 2012. The fund raiser will be graced by Shri T.K.A. Nair, Advisor to the Prime Minister; Dr. S.Y.Quraishi, Chief Election Commissioner of India and Mr. Ravi Singh, Secretary general and CEO, WWF-India among other dignitaries.
Sharing his excitement, Bharat Joshi, co-founder of bharatmrida says, "We are delighted to associate with WWF- India to spread awareness for the cause of environment and conservation and do our bit in integrating a cause in our popular culture." Adds Mrida Joshi, "The exhibition is entitled "witnesses of time", essentially alluding to nature being a witness to time since its existence, and the pressing need to conserve it if mankind has to coexist"
Dr. S.Y.Quraishi, Chief Election Commissioner of India says, "Its a pleasure to be associated with and to support the cause of spreading awareness for wildlife and environment conservation of WWF - India. "Witnesses of Time", the photography and art exhibition-cum-fund raiser will be attended and supported by eminent figures from the fields of art, media, diplomatic core and the government services. Ms. Shobha Bhatia is supporting the cause by hosting the collective works till May 17th 2012 at Gallerie Ganesha. A few works will also remain on display at The Park after the event.
