  • (1888PressRelease) August 03, 2010 - President and CEO of Chasse Consulting: Sales Strategies, Inc., Beverly Chasse, was named one of the 25 Central Texas Women of Influence by the Austin Business Journal at its 16th annual "Profiles in Power & Women of Influence" luncheon awards ceremony, held at the Westin Austin Hotel in the Domain.

Among the audience of 500 Austin business professionals were many Chasse associates who came in full support of their winner. "Working with Beverly has always been a privilege and great learning experience. She's an amazing leader with a big heart, and I can't think of anyone who deserves this award more," said Mamie Woods, vice-president of product development as well as Chasse's nominator and dear friend. "The truth is, Beverly has always been a woman of influence to us, and it's nice to see her recognized for it."

Chasse was selected for the award from over 70 nominees, and it comes in full recognition of her ability to blaze her own path, forge commendable leadership principles and serve as an influential model for future women leaders.

And for good reason - in addition to her charitable efforts here in Austin, which includes board memberships for the two charitable organizations Manos de Cristo and EMPACT Africa, and her involvement with the West Hills Presbyterian Church, Chasse also supports national and international philanthropic initiatives including World Vision, Charity: Water and St. Jude Children's Hospital. She also recently spent two weeks in Zambia, Africa where she met with locals to discuss the need for education around AIDS and the need to address key issues such as the lack of food and a sanitary water supply.

Chasse's commitment to others does not stop there, as she continues it by empowering her employees. Year in and year out, she asks them to dedicate 10 percent of their time, skill or resources to a charitable event of their choosing. This humbling and rewarding experience has been happily carried out since the company's founding in 2002.

Chasse offers her full thanks to the Austin Business Journal for the honor and humbly accepts it with a dedicated promise to continue serving Austin both on a professional and charitable level for many years to come.
