Her insights have been quoted in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and she has been featured on Fox 35 News.
Most recently, Janet has begun hosting her own radio show entitled: "The Janet Perez Eckles Inspirational Hour" where she encourages listeners to sit back, sip tea, put stress aside and chose to brighten their day and refresh their soul with the real-life testimonies shared by her and her guests.
Janet's own story is one of triumph. Losing her sight at the age of 31, she also endured the infidelity of her husband and the murder of her son. Even though God has healed her heart and her marriage, she still lives in a world of physical darkness, but Janet's zest to ignite a passion in others to help them see the best in life comes alive in her radio show.
The show began in late November and airs on Monday evenings at 7pm EST. During her inspirational hour, Janet speaks with her guests about overcoming life's trials through trust in God and faith in Christ. In January, Janet hosted the Global Ambassador for Campus Crusades for Christ, Nancy Wilson, and Patty Mason, the founder of Liberty in Christ Ministries.
