Best Roller Derby Of The Region? Right Here In Dallas At Clover Cup
Your chance to see cutting edge and hard hitting Roller Derby is right around the corner! March 18-20 (Friday - Sunday), the Dallas Derby Devils bring you Clover Cup 2016 at Nytex Sports Centre in North Richland Hills. This regional tournament will have three days worth of hard-hitting roller derby competition between eight women's all-star teams.
- Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) March 12, 2016 - Derby competition between eight women's all-star teams travelling from Arizona, California, Iowa, Kansas, and Pennsylvania.
These games are for rankings within the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). With over 355 competing teams in the WFTDA, Dallas Derby Devils has moved up to #19 and will be defending their title as last year's tournament winners. Visiting teams will be hungry to move up the brackets, like Brandywine Roller Girls all-stars from Pennsylvania who are ranked at #22.
Each of the Clover Cup attending teams will be skating hard to move up the tournament bracket. Some of them, like Tucson Roller Derby bring over 13 years of league experience with them. Along with some serious skating, there will also be some serious fun! Watch Sacred City (from Sacramento, CA) show off their signature pre-game dance warm-up, shop for a cornucopia of merchandise (including apparel, skates, and gear), enjoy great food and drink, and meet the skaters, officials, and volunteers.

Founded in 2004, the Dallas Derby Devils have been around since Derby's beginnings with some of its original women still skating and competing. Over the last five years, this sport has exploded across the U.S. and internationally. We are a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) which has grown to 355 member leagues and 81 in the WFTDA Apprentice program. Dallas Derby Devils is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, and a member league of the WFTDA (Women's Flat Track Derby Association).
