Best of Broadway Performs at the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center

  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) February 22, 2013 - This weekend, the Adelphi University Department of Music will present "The Best of Broadway", a revue starring students of the Music and Theatre programs, under the direction of Michael Hume. Spanning both old and new and combining well-known classics with hidden gems, this bi-annual concert has become an audience favorite each season. Tickets are available for shows this Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center (AUPAC) located at 1 South Avenue, Garden City, NY.

    Under the direction of Mr. Hume, performances are from timeless, much-loved musicals such as Fiddler on the Roof, The Fantasticks and Brigadoon. Also planned is "What Is This feeling?" from Wicked; "Seasons of Love" from Rent; and the famous balcony scene from West Side Story. This edition of Best of Broadway is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

    Celebrating its fifth year, Adelphi University's Performing Arts Center is Long Island's premier cultural arts venue for entertainment of all kinds.
