Belzona Open New Facility in Avonmouth, Bristol
Belzona, a global supplier of repair and maintenance solutions for machinery, equipment, buildings and structures is opening its third UK regional office located in Avonmouth, Bristol.
- (1888PressRelease) October 18, 2014 - The new facility will offer clients direct access to Belzona quality materials combined with specialist application services from a single source. Belzona Technosol application services provide high quality solutions across industries such as Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power Distribution, Facilities Maintenance and the Local Authority.
Comprising of a contemporary application workshop and newly fitted offices, Belzona is now able to offer a faster, more effective and accessible package to its client base in the South-West of England. Clients will benefit from over 60 years of application know-how, encompassing a wide scope of expertise in erosion corrosion management, chemical resistance, abrasion and wear repair, water and weatherproofing and a variety of other solutions to common problems found in the industrial and facilities maintenance sectors.
Belzona will be relocating members of their Harrogate based team to help launch the new Avonmouth office, as well as recruiting new team members from the Bristol area.
Commercial Director, Steve Cooper explained 'Throughout our 62 years in business, we have prided ourselves on providing a local service to our clients. This has been achieved primarily through local Technical Consultants offering on-site diagnosis, recommendations and training. With the introduction of a 'Supply and Apply' aspect to our business (Belzona Technosol) in 2002, there has been a need to have locally based application teams. We have therefore opened a number of regional operating premises and workshops around the country (Grangemouth, Harrogate and Wrexham) to base our teams of Technical Consultants and Application Specialists. We are therefore pleased to announce the opening of our newest regional centre in Avonmouth and we hope that as many of our valued customers as possible can join us at our open day'.
The official opening is to be held on Tuesday 4th November, where expert Belzona applicators will be performing a variety of live product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of the new facility. In the morning, clients will be invited to a VIP Breakfast Preview where the team will be showcasing solutions for facilities maintenance. In the afternoon, materials for industrial equipment repair and protection will be highlighted, all of which are designed to minimise maintenance costs. The open day will conclude with an early evening opening reception with a bonfire themed buffet to be enjoyed with traditional bonfire goodies.
