Troxel is an internationally recognized expert in the field of Alzheimer's treatment, long-term care and staff development and training. His inspirational presentation is designed to help caregivers communicate with people with Alzheimer's disease, plan meaningful activities, handle challenging behavior and encourage positive behavior.
Troxel is a past executive board member of the American Public Health Association, and currently serves on the Ethics Advisory Panel for the U.S. Alzheimer's Association and as a Program Consultant to the Alzheimer's Associate California Central Coast Chapters in Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.
