Bec Partners With R360 To Launch Interactive Television Network
Business Empire Consulting works with R360 to launch a new interactive television advertising network for small businesses.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) June 30, 2011 - With rampant growth in the technology sector, interactivity continues to be a theme in advertising. More technological capabilities offer advertisers a host of new methods. Business Empire Consulting and R360 are joining forces to launch an interactive television network that allows targeted advertising on an unmatched level.
Instead of traditional billboards or digital display boxes that only offer static or rotational advertising, blastTV, the new network, invites users to interact with ads through tweets, text messages and other new media outlets. blastTV is an Internet-powered television network for small business locations. blastTV allows businesses to advertise on their own televisions for free as well as target ads via the Internet to other televisions in the area where potential customers may be.
With a simple Internet connection, blastTV users can customize advertisements to time, location or consumer preferences. Using blastTV, these locations can entertain customers, place ads from their phones to their television and advertise on the televisions of local businesses.
R360, a cloud communication company, chose to partner with Business Empire Consulting on the project because of BEC's grasp on digital advertising and scope of technology. CEO Stephen Van Zutphen said, "The blastTV visual ad platform has seen growth in Cyprus, and BEC really understood and added value to the technology behind it. This is truly a company led by a group of young, yet energetic and creative business professionals. BEC has a deep understanding of how to use its innovation to bring value to its clients. You don't see that everyday"
BEC has joined R360's efforts to raise $20 million to promote the product's official launch in the United States. Currently, companies such as Best Buy, Wake County Public School Systems and Marriott Hotels have indicated interest in participating in the pilot ad network. Locations currently using the product include bars, clubs, water parks, grocery stores, convenience stores and stadiums. Boxes, which are engineered with Mac technology, include 25,000 advertising credits for ad spaces.
Business Empire Consulting CEO Bryan Young explained blastTV's value, saying, "There is a culture of fearlessness built within BEC. Our goal is to bring value to our clients on a national scale. When you look at what we have this system doing, I truly believe that is the next evolutionary step of an ad network. It's real time, it's interactive and it's still a controlled environment."
