As a child, Stuart sang Gospel music and has spent the last more than forty years celebrating American roots music with a missionary's zeal. Mill Town Music Hall focuses on family-friendly music and events and is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Avenue).

In addition to his collection of Grammys, Stuart is a platinum recording artist, Grand Ole Opry star, country music archivist, Southern culture historian, photographer, musician, songwriter, TV show host, charismatic force of nature, and country music fan. He spent his teenage years on tour with bluegrass legend Lester Flatt in the '70s, followed by six years in Johnny Cash's band during the '80s and a chart-topping tenure as a solo artist in the '90s.
