- (1888PressRelease) June 10, 2015 - The move was announced via the company's biannual newsletter which was issued this week. It is not the first time that Bayside Financial Services as pledged such a donation, with over USD $92,000 donated in 2011 to various charities providing aid to victims of natural disasters.
"Even if you are not a client of Bayside Financial Services and have no intention of becoming one, I urge you to consider the hardships faced by those less fortunate than yourself. Please donate your time or whatever monies you can, to whichever charitable concern, that you feel is a deserving cause." ANTON GERASIMOV, HEAD OF GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS
Anton Gerasimov, Bayside's Head of Global Communications stated; "We have worked for many years to create a platform upon which great wealth and opportunity can be built. In this time we have improved the personal and family wealth for our clients which, given the right guidance, will continue to prosper for generations to come. We hope to retain your custom across those generations. We do however see that there are others in this world that do not have the opportunities that have been afforded to us."
Mr. Gerasimov went on to say "These people often live in the poorest parts of the world and, unfortunately, many of them are only children. We have the means to offer these children a chance at a better life. With this goal in mind we pledge to donate one per cent of the gross revenue of our next client drive to six charities that will use the funds to provide food, education and healthcare services to disadvantaged children across the globe. We know that any amount that we can donate will not solve the problem of poverty, but we can improve the lives of a small number of people and we hope our actions will encourage you to do the same."
BFS will open their doors to new clients on the 11th of May and will disperse their charitable donation on November 20th 2015, which is the United Nations Universal Children's Day.
Mr. Gerasimov finished the article by urging everyone to get involved. "Even if you are not a client of Bayside Financial Services and have no intention of becoming one, I urge you to consider the hardships faced by those less fortunate than yourself. Please donate your time or whatever monies you can, to whichever charitable concern, that you feel is a deserving cause."
About Bayside Financial Services
Bayside Financial Services offer our unique investment approach in which each portfolio is divided into portions that are managed independently by portfolio managers and investment analysts with diverse backgrounds, ages and investment approaches.
This investment process, along with much of our culture, originated with Eric B. Carter, who led the organization from the mid-1950s through most of the 20th century. Eric's egalitarian approach to management encouraged creativity and laid the foundation for some of the firm's most innovative ideas. When things went well, he was always first to give credit to others.
Even as our organization evolves, we retain much of our original approach. Seasoned portfolio managers and investment analysts are responsible for putting their high-conviction ideas to work in client portfolios and always focused on delivering superior results.
