Bay State Elevator Company Hired to Modernize and Upgrade Corporate Woods Property
Bay State Elevator has been awarded the bid to begin work on the modernization of 6 elevators at the Corporate Woods properties, located on Corporate Woods Boulevard, in Albany, New York.
- Albany-Schenectady-Troy, NY (1888PressRelease) September 01, 2017 - The scope of this project will include upgrades and modernization to 6 elevator systems within the property. The system upgrades to more modern technology will improve reliability, increase the longevity, and increase the energy efficiency of the elevator systems at the Corporate Woods property.
The elevator modernization project is slated to commence in the next several months and the projected completion date is 2018. The tentative completion target date will be Summer of 2018.
Managed by The Picotte Companies, Corporate Woods is an executive complex, housing numerous business entities, including a Key Bank branch, Capital Cardiology Associates, among others. Built in 1986, the Corporate Woods property continues to be one of the most prestigious business addresses and is located on the border of the City of Albany and Town of Colonie. The size of the Corporate Woods property is approximately 200 acres.
This project was put out to bid and the goals of the project include the modernization of elevator systems, including upgrades to more current technologies. The end result of this project will be improved reliability, increased energy efficiency, and longevity of the elevator systems currently in place. Increased safety and a reduction in liability will also be a result of the modernization project.
