Bates Troy To Aid Flood Victims
Bates Troy Inc. is donating $10,000 to the United Way of Broome County Flood Relief Fund.
- (1888PressRelease) September 27, 2011 - The company will also offer special discounted pricing for garment restoration to flood victims.
Flood damaged clothing requires extra care for prevention of contamination and textile degradation and costs more than ordinary cleaning. Bates Troy will do this work for flood 2011 victims at a significantly reduced rate. Pricing and evaluation will be done at the main plant, since restoration requires a separate process. Customers will be called with full detailed pricing. Whatever cannot be cleaned or restored will be returned to the customer.
For those people with orders too large to bring to the Binghamton Main Street store, the Vestal Parkway store at the corner of Rano Boulevard is offering a pickup service. Call Megan Wilson at (607) 723-5333, ext. 330 to schedule pickups.
Bates Troy's Vestal Avenue store on Binghamton's Southside was also affected by the flood and clients can pick up their clothing from that store at the 177 Main St. address. The store is expected to re-open Monday morning.
