- (1888PressRelease) June 17, 2011 - Effedtive immediately, BASF is increasing its sales prices for dimethylaminopropylamine and dimethylacetamide in Europe as follows:
Dimethylaminopropylamine (DMAPA) + €100 per metric ton
Dimethylacetamide (DMAC) + €120 per metric ton
These methylamine derivatives are versatile chemical intermediates with a wide range of applications, such as agrochemicals, water treatment and personal care. DMAC also has a broad variety of uses as a solvent. BASF produces methylamines and their derivatives at its sites in Ludwigshafen, Germany; Geismar, Louisiana; Nanjing, China; and Camaçari, Brazil.
