Wolters Kluwer Law & Business is a major provider of research products and software solutions for healthcare, legal, and business professionals. Libman's board duties extend to two of Wolters Kluwer's major product lines: CCH and MediRegs, which offer complete solutions for healthcare governance, risk and compliance (GRC) - as well as the most comprehensive tools available for regulatory research across diverse practice areas.

Barry Libman is recognized for his in-depth knowledge of coding and reimbursement issues. An AHIMA-certified ICD-10 trainer, Libman is often asked to provide education and training on code updates and coding issues. Prior to forming Libman Education in 2012 and Barry Libman Inc. in 1998, Libman held a number of positions in the health information management field, working for hospitals, insurers, consulting firms, and regulatory bodies.
A graduate of Northeastern University with a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from Simmons College, Libman received the Professional Achievement Award from the Massachusetts Health Information Management Association (MaHIMA). He served on the MaHIMA Board of Directors and as a representative to the House of Delegates at the AHIMA national conference.
