The firm’s new acquisition adds to existing capabilities, to create a private equity fund of funds business.
(1888PressRelease) November 01, 2019 - Barnet Dingwall, an Asian investment management company, managing assets for both institutional and retail clients from offices around the Asia Pacific Region, is pleased to announce it has agreed to acquire a 50.1% stake in Financial Advising Company. The name of the company will be made public at a later date upon the completion of the contract specifications and the approval of the antitrust regulatory committee.
The transaction is consistent with Barnet Dingwall’s stated strategy of acquiring smaller businesses to enhance and accelerate the company’s own organic growth.
The company is an established private equity specialist with approximately $0.5 billion of assets under management and advice. Upon completion, the company will be integrated with Barnet Dingwall’ own private equity fund of funds business. The combined business will be led by Steven Feng, Chief Investment Officer of Barnet Dingwall.
