Barminco Supports Salvation Army Christmas Appeal
Barminco has continued its commitment to contributing to the communities by donating.
- (1888PressRelease) January 16, 2012 - Hazelmere based mining services company Barminco has continued its commitment to contributing to the communities in which they operate with a donation close to $5,000 worth of gifts to families in need this Christmas.
In partnership with the Salvation Army's Christmas Appeal, Barminco will put 90 wrapped gifts under the trees of families less fortunate, to bring a smile to the faces of children on Christmas morning.
Additionally Barminco has provided the Salvation Army with close to 50 family and double passes to the Perth Zoo, which will ensure many deserving families a wonderful day out over the summer holidays.
Barminco CEO Neil Warburton said the contribution was an opportunity for the company to give back to the community.
"As an organisation committed to enriching our community I am thrilled to assist the Salvation Army in their mission to support families in need at Christmas", he said.
"On behalf of Barminco it is our hope that these gifts will help to make Christmas day a special day for Western Australian families."
