Barbour ABI Releases Quarterly Construction Analysis
Barbour ABI have recently released their quarterly review analysis, which highlights key building projects and the best performing sectors.
- (1888PressRelease) July 29, 2010 - Construction Review is a popular read amongst construction industry professionals. Starting with leading stories from two respected sources; Brian Green who blogs for Building magazine and Dr Noble Francis from the Construction Products Association.
The review goes on to provide a detailed analysis of all sectors within the construction industry. Here's an extract from the Residential Sector Summary (April to June 2010):
Continued hope for the residential sector saw an increase in output of just shy of 10% on the previous quarter. Indeed output was more than double the corresponding quarter last year. It must be noted that within these figures is included a £3 billion MOD project for new Barracks over a 30 year period. Despite these figures, there are mixed views across the industry. Whilst gross mortgage lending was up 15% in June, according to data released by the Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML), others warned of perils waiting.
Barbour ABI reports on every new building project in the UK, enhancing planning application and public tender information at each stage of the construction lifecycle. For over 70 years, the Barbour ABI portfolio has provided industry leading services to the construction community.
