Baltimore Concert Opera celebrates its fifth season of opera in residence at the historic Garrett-Jacobs Mansion, home of the Engineers Club, with a Season Kickoff Party preceding its opening night performance. Festivities will begin at 5:45pm with live jazz by the Unified Jazz Ensemble, followed by the opening night performance of Donizetti's "Elixir of Love."

First announced in March 2013 at performances of Macbeth, Baltimore Concert Opera opened the fundraising campaign - '25.4.5' for $25,000 to help ensure the organization's ongoing sustainability going into its 5th season.
BCO will host its festive annual Silent Auction in conjunction with performances of Puccini's Tosca on November 30th and December 2nd. The silent auction has expanded this year to include online bidding in the weeks prior to the live event.
Julia Cooke will assume the role of Executive Director for Baltimore Concert Opera beginning September 1, 2012. Ms. Cooke is a co-founder of Baltimore Concert Opera and has been intricately involved in its operations while serving as a member of the Board of Directors since 2009.
