Bailey-Parks Urethane Upgrades Machine Shop with New CNC Equipment
Three-axis mill expands capabilities, improves capacity and increases speed.
- Nashville, TN (1888PressRelease) January 17, 2013 - Bailey-Parks Urethane has added a three-axis Haas SL-20 horizontal milling machine to its machine shop. This latest addition to Bailey-Parks's manufacturing capabilities integrates seamlessly with the company's CNC systems, which feature AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Mastercam softwares.
Digitally automated, the SL-20 enables Bailey-Parks to fashion complex molds from steel, aluminum and other metals. This capacity allows Bailey-Parks to provide turnkey molding solutions to prosthetics manufacturers and clients who need complex cylindrical molds, among others. The mill can also be used to integrate company logos into molds and to refine molded urethane products such as hydrocyclones and roller casings, ensuring that finished parts meet strict tolerances.
A significant addition to Bailey-Parks' already robust machine shop, the SL-20 has increased the shop's throughput, reduced handling and improved accuracy, strengthening Bailey-Parks Urethane's reputation as a total solutions provider for custom molded polyurethane parts.
