Babson Hosts 14th Annual Rocket Pitch Event
Babson hosts signature event showcasing 96 ideas in 288 minutes.
- (1888PressRelease) November 01, 2013 - 96 teams will be participating in Babson College's 14th annual Rocket Pitch, where Babson undergraduate, graduate, and alumni businesses will present their entrepreneurial ideas to an audience of entrepreneurs, investors, service providers, faculty and students. Armed with only three minutes of stage time and three PowerPoint slides, these entrepreneurs will have to succinctly communicate the uniqueness and necessity of their business ventures.
Pitches happen in rapid succession in multiple rooms. Presenters can't answer questions during their pitch, so an open networking reception follows the competition, allowing audience members to connect with the entrepreneurs directly.
Sponsored by the Arthur E. Blank Center and Pepper Hamilton LLP, this event brings forth the young business minds of today and helps them connect with other like-minded business professionals to move their venture forward.
