Babson College Hosts 10th Annual Healthcare & Life Sciences Forum
Industry, academic and entrepreneurial leaders come together to discuss challenges, opportunities and innovative ideas for the healthcare and life sciences sector.
- (1888PressRelease) February 15, 2013 - Babson College is hosting its 10th Annual Healthcare & Life Science Forum. The half-day Forum will bring together industry, academic and entrepreneurial leaders to discuss challenges, opportunities and innovative ideas for the healthcare and life sciences sector.
The forum aims to present topics that have the greatest opportunity and impact, including innovation in therapeutic design and delivery, powerful uses for data analytics in healthcare, opportunities and challenges facing start-ups and the impact of payer/provider on patient care.
The conference provides a platform for healthy debates surrounding these topics and provides an excellent opportunity for new business ideas and professional development.
The two keynote speakers for the event, Alexandra Drane and Rodrigo Martinez, are both pioneers in the healthcare industry and will offer attendees unique and fresh perspectives on the future of healthcare and the industry's interconnectedness with entrepreneurship, design, and technology.
The forum will take place from 11:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m. in Babson's Olin Hall.
The event is sponsored by the Babson Healthcare and Life Sciences Club. The student-led organization comprised of Babson graduate students and alumni, aims to host events that allow members to explore the world of business in the healthcare and life sciences industry. The club represents a broad group of constituencies with careers in biotechnology, consulting, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare delivery, and the managed care sector.
