Babington Group Targets Expansion in Stoke
Stoke-on-Trent, 4 November 2010 Staff, employers and learners at Babington Business College are celebrating the opening of a new, modern, purpose-designed learning and administration centre in the city by post 16 learning provider Babington Business College.
- (1888PressRelease) November 06, 2010 - The college, which specialises in vocational skills development and Apprenticeships, is relocating and upgrading its existing Stoke operations to new 2000m2 facilities at Parklands Business Park in the south west of the city. Learners and staff will enjoy light and spacious accommodation and new, state-of-the-art IT and learning equipment.
Dr Chris Payne, Chief Executive Officer, Babington Business College, says: "We are committed to providing employers and learners in Stoke with access to the facilities, experience and expertise that they expect of a top learning provider.

Adrian Parker, 21, from Stoke has just completed successfully his Accounting Apprenticeship with Babington Business College in Stoke. Adrian adds: "My AAT Technician in Accounting is more than just a piece of paper, it's my future. When you do the maths, learning at work really adds up. I've got a great job, a great career opportunity and a real qualification that is mine for life."
Babington Business College is a pioneer of the Apprenticeship programme, with the first Accountancy Apprentice in the country. The college specialises in vocationally focused qualifications including Business Administration, Accounts, Providing Financial Services, Team Leading, Customer Service, Providing Mortgage Advice, Providing Financial Advice and Management.
