B1 File Manager v0.8.5: Introducing 4shared cloud storage support
B1 File Manager expands its support for cloud file storages with the added support of 4shared service.
- (1888PressRelease) July 31, 2014 - Catalina Group presents the updated version of B1 File Manager. The new version (0.8.5) can boast with it's new cloud storage available from B1 File Manager - 4shared. Following the support for Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive and Box, this makes it the 5th cloud storage in the file manager. The update also bring the increased stability and some minor bug-fixes.
In its latest update the developers of B1 File Manager have added another famous cloud storage service called 4shared. Following the general policy and traditional mechanics of cloud file management, everything operates in the same manner as with Dropbox or OneDrive. Mainly, users can sign-in with their existing accounts or create a new one without leaving the app.
Considering the fact that most official cloud storage client app don't have a support for several accounts, this would be handy for users with a more than one 4shared account. With no need to re-login each time, all 4shared accounts are added to the Networks menu for fast access. B1 File Manager provides its users with a way to upload files from both internal and external memory (SD card), download/upload files and folders. The overall stability of the app has also greatly improved thanks to the users' reports and heavy pre-release testing.
Adam Buyer, project leader at B1 says:
"Adding 4shared as our next supportable cloud storage in B1 File Manager was an easy choice. Given the fact that 4shared started giving up 15 gigs of storage for free long before the amount of storage became a competition among such services. Just like almost any other official cloud storage client for Android, managing several accounts is a pain which you can now forget about.
Our future updates may not be connected with the implementation of new cloud storages into B1 File Manager. The future updates will, most likely, be focused on making the file management process in even more comfortable and productive."
