Azure Power appoints Glen Minyard, world renowned solar power veteran
PV Solar power plant industry veteran appointed the Vice President, Design and Engineering. Glen Minyard has an experience of over thirty years in the solar power industry and is the founder of Minyard Solar Electric Inc., a company that provides consulting for the solar electric industry.

Glen Minyard, a veteran in the international solar power industry, joins Azure Power, India's first grid connected solar power plant developer as its Vice President, Design and Engineering. In this position he will steer the commercial and off-grid business of Azure Power and continue development of world class solar engineering practice at Azure Power.
Glen Minyard, who has an Associate's degree in Electronics Technology from College of the Redwoods, California, is a solar power veteran. He has minor degrees in micro computer technology, communications and bio medical, as well. Glen is the founder of Minyard Solar Electric Inc which provides consulting for the solar electric industry. His experience of over 30 years covers design, supply, project management, & complete installation of residential and large scale commercial Photovoltaic, wind, & hybrid electrical power systems. He is a globally recognized expert in PV system design and has supervised the design, manufacture, and project management of over 5,000 complete systems for the industry, across the world. He specializes in manufacturing solar electric equipment for remote home, telecom and large industrial applications.
