Medical and Scientific Advisory Council (MASAC) is the medical council to the National Hemophilia Foundation comprised of physicians, scientists, and other health care providers from Hemophilia Treatment Centers around the U.S. and abroad.

Medical and Scientific Advisory Council (MASAC) is the medical council to the National Hemophilia Foundation comprised of physicians, scientists, and other health care providers from Hemophilia Treatment Centers around the U.S. and abroad. In 2008, MASAC publishes these guidelines for standards of service in hemophilia, which includes the following:
• Knowledgeable staff of clotting factor concentrates and ancillary supplies
• Providing a full range of available concentrates, including assays, vials sizes, and ancillaries
• Following strict guidelines for timely filling and delivery of prescriptions
• Providing 24-hour emergency access to pharmacy staff
• Recordkeeping, Billing and Product Recall processes
