Awareness Podcast Hits Airwaves
Michele "Shelly" Ryan released the 2nd episode of the Feel Teal Talk show, sharing ovarian cancer news, updates and awareness via her pod-casting broadcast.
- (1888PressRelease) November 30, 2011 - November 18th, 2011 saw the launching of the Feel Teal Talk podcast with comedian-host, Michele (Shelly) Ryan.
A weekly podcast programme devoted to news, resources and events related to ovarian cancer plus guest interviews.
In its "debut", the podcast included an interview with Founder/Creator of the Feel Teal Club, Deb Stevens, who shared her story along with updates and news on various awareness projects.
In its 2nd episode, which aired November 25th, 2011, the programme consisted of song requests & dedications, contributions from the show's audience members. This public interaction was a successful move to encouraging public participation in what proved to be a very emotional, yet rewarding segment for all involved.
The show's "theme" was about "Giving Thanks", and the public were invited to submit their own thoughts on what music meant to them, and "why". With each dedication came a song request, and in no time at all, the show was booked out!
Upon reflection afterwards, Michele Ryan said: "The most recent Feel Teal Talk podcast was all about giving thanks. I'm thankful for being able to experience the laughter, the tears, the memories and the triumphs from some of our beloved Titans of Teal and shout the message of awareness to the world!"
