The product, Guest Room Trolley - SPL 17 from Charnock Equipments, was awarded the Best New Innovation, under the Technical (New Product Launch) category. The Clean India Journal also felicitated Vivek Mata, Managing Director, Charnock Equipments.
The Clean India Journal awards recognized and felicitated the contributors from cleaning equipments manufacturers, housekeeping staffs and organizations in service sector. The recognitions emphasized on innovations and the best cleaning practices. Eminent industrialists and other fraternities from the Cleaning Industry attended the award ceremony organized on December 6, 2013 in Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. The grand event was the first of its kind organized by Clean India Journal. The objective behind that was chiefly to call attention to the 'effectiveness in cleaning practices'.
Awards categories included Technical- for the best cleaning equipment, cleaning tools, cleaning chemicals, hygiene solutions and the best product launch, Civic- for Best Maintained Civic Hospital, Best Maintained Community Toilet Block and Well Maintained Institute and finally, Housekeeping- for the Best Room Attendant and Best Janitor.
