- Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) May 25, 2022 - Jodi Grinwald, Founder, Today Is The Day Changemakers CEO and co-founder of the Zzak G. Applaud Our Kids Foundation, was interviewed on “Lessons In Leadership”. During a wide-ranging conversation with Host, Steve Adubato, and Co-Host, Mary Gamba, Grinwald discussed her passion for change and connecting people with one another.
Grinwald touched on numerous topics throughout the interview, including how to find inner happiness despite issues in your daily life. According to Grinwald, “It really is about connecting with something you enjoy for a second. It could be looking out the window and looking at the beautiful blue sky. We need to be present in that specific moment, understand what you're feeling, but also welcome something that’s going to give you a smile”.
During the interview, Adubato mentions Grinwald’s connection to the New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA). To that relationship, Grinwald responded, “I’ve been working with them and started their non-profit council, something that they never had before, to focus on how to bridge the gap between the two sectors: non-profit and for-profit… My whole platform and everything I do is all about connecting”.
Grinwald goes on to discuss her podcast “Today Is The Day Changemakers,” as well as her role in the “Applaud Our Kids Foundation” and their goals as an organization. In regards to her podcast, Grinwald states, “I’m talking to the changemakers, the everyday changemakers, but also the CNN heroes, the TEDx speakers, those who are making a difference in their world or the greater world. We learn so many great lessons from each other, and so I wanted to bring them to the forefront during a time that was very difficult and it’s grown exponentially.”
