Award-Winning Gospel Group To Perform At Amish Door Village

Akron, OH (1888PressRelease) November 18, 2010 - Legacy Five, Southern gospel group and winner of four Singing News Fan Awards, will be performing at Amish Door Village December 2. The group, consisting of five men, was founded in January 2000, which is when they received their first Favorite Album of the Year nomination for "Strong in the Strength."

According to Scott Fowler, co-founder, lead singer and manager, "The most rewarding accolades are the ones we get in the form of letters from the people we sing to. People telling us how a song we sang ministered to them or encouraged them."

They have also received a Song of the Year nomination for "I Stand Redeemed" and a Favorite Album of the Year nomination for their "London" album, among various Dove nominations, which are reserved for Christian music performers.
