AVTODOM took part in the main racing weekend of this summer Motoring. Grand Prix of St. Petersburg at Igora Drive
July 11, the fifth stage of the Motoring Russian Motoring Championship in road-ring motorcycle racing, Motoring.
- (1888PressRelease) July 21, 2021 - The Grand Prix of St. Petersburg was held at the Igora Drive autodrome. More than 100 of the fastest Russian riders competed for results in seven classes. This year for the first time, the Motoring Championship consists of seven stages and is held at the five best racetracks in Russia. Igora Drive traditionally gathers a large number of participants at the start. Racers appreciate the new track, its interesting configuration and safety. The lap length is 4086 m. The record of accomplishment on a motorcycle belongs to the currently famous racer Vladimir Leonov, who competes in the Motoring Championship in the top Superbike class. Vladimir set a lap record at the end of May, during the second stage of the Championship: 1.34.939.
Makar Yurchenko is Vladimir's teammate, won the Superbike class this time. By the way, he set the best lap time: 1.34.856 in Saturday qualifying.
The atmosphere at the circuit was heating up with every race on Sunday. The first two races were intense. After the break, the events on the track developed more and more dramatically. Overtaking, exchanging positions, falling, stubborn struggle and the traditional exit on the rear wheel to the start-finish line made the audience breathless more than once. The live commentary broadcast of the race immersed everyone in the exciting world of road circuit motorcycle racing.

The group of companies AVTODOM presented to the visitors the BMW S 1000 RR a motorcycle on which several victories at the race track were won today, the BMW R 1250 RS, BMW F 900 R, BMW S 1000 XR, as well as Mercedes-Benz GT, BMW M4 cars, Porsche Taycan, Porsche 911 and the legendary Lamborghini Huracan as part of the Motoring Championship. The sporty dynamics of the Mercedes-Benz GT is provided by a front-to-mid engine with spaced-apart drive train and intelligent lightweight aluminum construction. The newly developed AMG V8 biturbo engine with 4.0 l displacement emphasizes the sporty dynamics characteristic of AMG. The BMW M4 is a powerful sports car for racetracks and motorways. The car can easily enter even the most difficult turns at maximum speeds thanks to the sensitive steering wheel. The appearance of the Porsche Taycan at the circuit caused a great stir among the audience. Top modification Taycan Turbo S accelerates to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. The Porsche 911 sports car caused a real delight, because the first version of this model made its debut in races back in 1965. The legendary Lamborghini Huracan V10 captivated the guests with its original design, clear aerodynamic lines and perfect proportions. The sports car displayed an all-LED lighting system. It gives it an ultra-technological look and allows you to accurately recognize the car even in the dark. By pressing the start button, you can feel how all ten cylinders of the powerful engine come to life behind your back.
