AVTODOM St. Petersburg has become a partner of the Baja Russia - Northern Forest 2022
Baja Russia Northern Forest 2022 was held at the Igora Drive circuit in the Leningrad Region from February 10 to 13.
- (1888PressRelease) February 19, 2022 - Baja Russia Northern Forest 2022 was held at the Igora Drive circuit in the Leningrad Region from February 10 to 13. The unique rally-raid determined the strongest racing drivers in Russia and the world. AVTODOM Saint-Petersburg acted as one of the partners of the event, which brought together many fans of extreme motorsport.
Russia Northern Forest 2022 is the only baja (rally-raid with a ring route) in the world, which is held on a snow-ice track. The competition was the first stage of three championships the Russian Rally Raid Championship, the Eurasian Cup and the Baja World Cup. 40 pilots and navigators from 10 countries became participants in the Russia-Northern Forest 2022 race. The competition program included three stages: a qualifying race on February 11, overcoming two short special stages with a total length of 233 km on February 12, and the final race along the two most dangerous tracks with a length of 347 km on February 13. The awarding ceremony for the winners and prizewinners of extreme rally races became the final of the competition.
AVTODOM dealership presented BMW and MINI cars: BMW 740, BMW X5, BMW X7, BMW X3, MINI Clubman and MINI Countryman at this large-scale motorsport festival. Guests of the event could visit a special service area after the end of a series of races. Extreme sports enthusiasts had the opportunity to meet the members of the Russian VRT racing team. They told about their MINI combat vehicle and the popular rally marathons, in which they took part.
