Autonet Insurance Sponsors British Champion at £2 Million Grand Opening
Autonet Insurance, the multi-award winning van insurance broker, have been looking for new and different sponsoring opportunities around their local area.
- (1888PressRelease) August 29, 2012 - Stoke on Trent, United Kingdom - Autonet have found their next sponsorship in British and European Championship Mountainbike Winner Danny Butler, at the £2million grand reopening of Burslem Park.
The Extreme Mountainbike Show featured Danny Butler and Sam Oliver demonstrating various tricks and stunts with their specialised bikes, and commentating through the difficult and intricate moves.
Burslem Park has undergone a £2 million restoration project courtesy of the National Lottery Fund, local MPs and residents. The renovation has made a considerable difference to the park, with much-needed additions such as new benches, fountains and gardens. With the commitment of various people and organisations from around the area working together, it has been transformed into a park for the people once again.
Ian Donaldson, local resident and Managing Director of Autonet Insurance, commented: "Autonet were proud to sponsor the Extreme Mountainbike Show at the grand re-opening of Burslem Park. Burslem itself has great history, so to be sponsoring an event at the re-opening is an honour."
