Leicestershire business Automatic Access install automatic entry points in British Gypsum's local training premises.
- (1888PressRelease) August 11, 2011 - British Gypsum, the leading UK manufacturer and supplier of gypsum-based plastering and drylining solutions recently embarked upon a project to refurbish their training building.
With the company's headquarters located in East Leake, Leicestershire, the firm currently have five manufacturing plants throughout England, accompanied by five industry-leading training centres.
In order to remain at the forefront of their field, British Gypsum elected to refurbish their Leicester based training premises in order to offer a more functional, secure and pleasant learning environment.
As part of the project, British Gypsum chose to employ the help of Leicestershire's leading manufacturer and supplier of automatic doors, Automatic Access, to install a complete set of automatic entry points.
Automatic Access had provided their services to British Gypsum on a prior occasion. They renovated the company's headquarters by installing two automatic sliding doors, in order to act as an air lock between the indoor and outdoor climate.
Due to the unanticipated success of the project, British Gypsum had every faith that Automatic Access were the right choice to complete similar work at their Leicestershire training premises.
The new doors are controlled by swipe access cards, increasing the safety of students and improving security within the premises.
The expectation is that the automated access will help British Gypsum, and the East Leake training centre, to build an increasingly modern image and make the building more accessible for those with restricted mobility.
Automatic Access have completed many similar projects across the country. They have recently improved accessibility for Mencap patients by installing an automatic entry system in their Leicester office and have even installed doors within the renowned Harrods department store.
Automatic Access also complies fully with the Disability Discrimination Act of 2004 and will make sure that all clients and customers are equipped to adhere to the guidelines as well.
