Featuring monthly shipments of books hand-curated by R. Shawn McBride (or as fans say “The Our Shawn”) and Shannon J. Gregg, with reader’s guides, a networking community, and live and interactive presentations with each month’s author, the club is intended to assist women in their own personal growth and professional development.
As today’s workplaces become more streamlined and less coaching and training is done on the job, many women are faced with an overload of content as they navigate self-help non-fiction books - and a lack of direction, community and fun in the learning process. The GeniusCenter™ Women’s Book Club saves women the time that they’d spend choosing books, and the money that they’d spend on choosing the wrong books (and the time they’d waste reading them). It adds value and depth by introducing the aspect of the community and allowing direct interaction with the authors.

About Shannon J. Gregg
Shannon J. Gregg, MBA, is an aficionado of sales technology to Do Business Effectively™ in the sales process, and an early adopter and adoption influencer for sales technology systems, particularly Salesforce.com and technology that integrates with the Salesforce platform. Shannon is known as a change agent, particularly in M&A environments (VC/PE), with successful track record of integrating process, product/service pricing and pricing methodologies, and notably, global teams, with cultural sensitivity.
Shannon earned her BA from the University of Pittsburgh, her MBA from Point Park University, and is currently a PhD student in Community Engagement. She also competes on a jazz dance team for moms. She keeps an office in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania market.
