- (1888PressRelease) April 12, 2011 - Mary Jane Kasliner, author of "Feng Shui Designs in a Flash E-kit" and several other feng shui books, was invited to speak at the Metropolitan Design Institute on April 9th about the art and science of Feng Shui.
Ms. Kasliner has years of education and working experience on the topics of health, the environment, human desires and how each of these elements connects to the energy in every day living spaces.
Ms. Kasliner explained how Feng Shui is based on the laws of nature and how following its principles can make a space feel balanced, soothing and harmonic.
Feng Shui has existed for thousands of years throughout civilization where man found connection between nature and spaces. Feng Shui brings the feelings of nature and energy into the home and that is the secret behind healthy prosperous living.
Ms. Kasliner informed the students that all energy is found on the EMS (electromagnetic spectrum) and how that energy moves and interacts with the surrounding environment (materials and design components) determines how a space will feel.
Feng Shui is about balancing the energy. When the space is energetically balanced, then so too are the occupants living in that space. Structures that incorporate curve designs, natural materials, scent, color, eco-friendly fabrics and furniture all contribute to smooth energy flow and high vibrating spaces.
After speaking at the Metropolitan Institute of Design many of the students requested more information about Ms Kasliner's publications and Feng Shui school (Teaching Tortoise School of Feng Shui) located in ocean, NJ.
In addition to Ms. Kasliner's school of Feng Shui, she is the President and owner of Body Space Alignment, a feng shui and yoga consulting company located in Ocean , NJ.
