Author Roselyn Jewell, who has thus far been known almost entirely for romance, has tried her hand at writing a thriller, and readers may very well find it even better than her romances. They resume their rivalry and start to realize that there are actually underlying feelings there on both ends. Just as Victoria thinks she's ready to get close to Adrian, her superiors want to send him on what will most likely be a suicide mission. Victoria has always put her job first and wholeheartedly believed in the work they do, but now she's forced to make a choice; should she stand by her job, even if it means losing the man she loves? Or should she fight for the man that just might be the love of her life?
