- Albany-Schenectady-Troy, NY (1888PressRelease) February 01, 2020 - What is it like for a young woman to lose her fiancé in a tragic accident? Will she be able to grow out of her misery, form a new relation, and live a wholesome life again? This and many related questions are explored and addressed in author Natalie Jenkins’ second book “After The Storm” which will be released by the end of 2020.
Natalie’s debut book was the memoir ‘Fourteen Day Fiancé’. After receiving a huge response, Natalie has continued with the autobiographical work, and the second one traces the journey of a young Kentucky woman, based on herself, as she moves on new things.
The second novel begins with the protagonist Natalie visiting the First Baptist Church to mourn the death of her fiancé, Jason. Returning home, she almost feels like killing herself. At the therapy sessions, she takes medications despite warnings from the Church members.
Natalie was slammed publicly for speaking the truth and gaining financial advantage from her situation. After facing depression, Natalie begins to renew her faith in God, and this changes the course of her journey. The reader now sees Natalie happy, praying and ready to welcome a new man in her life.
“This was the period in my life when I began to heal slowly, questioning everything that happened to me. Rumors were spreading, and it was impossible to distinguish between what was real and what wasn’t. Eventually, I grew close to someone special. This book is a chronicle of the life and times that young women will be able to relate to as reflecting many things in their own lives,” says Natalie Jenkins.
Natalie Jenkins’s debut memoir was ‘Fourteen Day Fiancé’. She is currently about to release her second book, “After The Storm”, a novel, coming at the end of the year. Natalie is a professionally trained writer and has spent the last couple of years reading and doing research to make the characters in her new novel exciting.
