Author John Rataczak Releases Second Book, entitled Bible Translations: A Closer Look
Released in 2012, this non-fiction book discusses the fascinating topic of Bible translations and the many challenges translators face, while evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the best-known Bible translations.

Rataczak talks about the fascinating world of Bible translation in great detail, offering an insight to a variety of related questions. His book topics include: what readers should believe about the Bible, what readers should know about past Bible translations, the difficulties a Bible translator faces, why there are so many differences in translation, some of the methods used in modern Bible translations, the strengths and weaknesses of the best-known Bible translations, and how a believer can study the Bible more effectively.

Rataczak was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri and raised in the St. Louis Area. He holds a BA in Bible Studies, an MA in Pastoral Studies, and a PhD in New Testament Text (Greek), and his studies include Greek, Hebrew, and Biblical Linguistics. He has taught in three Christian colleges and two graduate schools, and his pastoral work includes ministries in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Rataczak is the sole owner of his book company, Eleutheros Books since 2010 where he does all of his research, writing, editing, and marketing.
